1. Copy a link and check content
Copy a share link from a public Xiaohongshu or Douyin post you have permission to save. Open Harudown in your desktop browser, paste the link and select Check content. Confirm the title and content type.
2. Sign in with the same browser
Sign in from the preview or download action in the same browser. Your latest guest result can continue after sign-in. Switching browsers or clearing site data during sign-in may prevent it from being linked.
3. Save the video or selected photos
Select Download video to open the original media address in a new tab. If it plays instead of saving, use the browser video menu or Save video as. For experimental Xiaohongshu photo results, select the photos you need in the album and download them individually. Harudown adds no watermark and does not remove existing source watermarks.
4. Check the download list
Check your browser download list for completion and the saved location. Files go to the folder in your browser settings or one you choose. Open Download history under the same account to return to a result. Website results are kept for 7 days; source addresses may expire sooner.

Why does Download video just play the video?
The button opens the original media address. Use your browser video saving menu, then check the download list. Harudown does not store the source file or choose a folder on your device.
